The Disengagement dance
In 2005, the Israeli government decided to return Gush Katif, an area full of settlements that I established during my military service in 1975. I was with my friends from Nahal, a second outpost in Katif, which was just sand with a patch of grass and fields of watermelons and all kinds of field crops. During the evacuation, I sympathized with the evacuees and from that moment I decided to draw a Bible because the people of Israel must mark the borders of their country without going back and forth. And now, 21 years have passed and the worst thing has happened to Israel because they returned territories that belong to them.
