It is a vision where the prophet Ezekiel is instructed by God to take two tree trunk and write on them—one for Judah and the children of Israel, his companions, and the other for Joseph, the tree trunk of Ephraim, and all the house of Israel, his companions. Then, he is commanded to join the two tree trunk together into one, symbolizing the future reunification of the Kingdom of Judah and the Kingdom of Israel after the division that occurred following the reign of King Solomon.
