Drawing and painting lessons
as a personal expression

Living in a picture - a studio for shape and color drawing studies that grew out of a desire to provide a solution to drawing and painting studies from which the participant can grow personally.
In the lessons, I teach my students how to hold a pencil, charcoal, brush and creative thinking, what to focus on in order to embark on a journey of discovery and personal expression. The studio to live in a picture stands out for its commitment to excellence at the highest level, drawing classes in different drawing techniques, acrylic and oil. Training according to the personal progress of each student.
The "Living in a Picture" studio is recognized by teacher training funds and the Teachers' Union.
Both seasoned painters and those who have never held a pencil come to the studio - I adjust the course of study personally for each student, according to the level of drawing and mastery of the various drawing and painting techniques

What will we work on?
Color theory
Familiarity with the theoretical basis for all color theory. In the center is a triangle with the three basic colors - red, yellow, blue. From these three it is possible to make up all the colors that exist in our world.
Measurement and perspective
Application of measurement and understanding of relationships between objects, the technique that simulates on a two-dimensional surface, such as a sheet of paper or canvas, what the human eye sees.
Visual thinking
Visual thinking is a skill that allows us to decipher the visual representations around us and find meaning in them. We will use art as a tool for developing critical and creative thinking, as well as diagnosis, observation and communication skills.
self-awareness
Acquaintance and self-acceptance through painting - dealing with intimate encounters with ourselves in times of frustration, anxiety, and impatience.
We will learn to balance and get wise and correct insights.
trial and error
Working with art materials is an activity of trial and error during which you learn to choose, plan, design and create. This is a long process, because when handling the material we find out what can be done with it. By understanding the steps while investigating the color, texture and other properties of materials

Expanding knowledge by getting to know painters and artists while learning and copying master paintings in order to learn different techniques and expand the toolbox.

Remember how we used to doodle in kindergarten? Kindergarten children express themselves through doodling and drawing, a process that comes naturally.
Every person has the instinct of creation and expression, creation is a seed within us. That is why it is worthwhile, and recommended, to create a creative corner at home, where the child can express himself freely without words.
Teaching children to draw is learning a language, a technique that has clear rules.
For example, in a Hebrew lesson, the child learns the letters and their sounds, their combination and conjunctions, words and paragraphs, articles, essays and reference to all the rules of the language.
Likewise in learning to draw, the child comes with a strong desire to express himself and we, as his guides, are supposed to lead him on his way and awaken his understanding to the rules of drawing which, with the help of practice and experience, will be embedded in him as basic tools.
Learning children's drawing comes to give the child a response to expression and aesthetics, and the criticism must be empowering and inclusive, which will make him continue to draw with reference to the rules of the language of painting
